A collection of diverse deep house music from various artists and labels. It includes tracks from Furry Phreaks, Mr. V, Alix Alvarez, Âme, Carl Craig, Rune Lindbæk & Lindstrøm, Lionel Hampton, Phonique, Logan, Funk D'Void, Ferrer & Sydenham Inc., Justin Martin, Scott Grooves, and Feist. Each track contributes to the mix's unique musical journey, showcasing a blend of deep house, dub, and electronic sounds.
Several years ago, Steffen "Dixon" Berkhahn initiated the Innercity clubnights at WEEK12END Berlin, reintroducing much-needed Deep House sounds to the Techno/Electro/Minimal scene in Berlin. This event quickly gained recognition as a noteworthy addition to the German capital's nightlife. It offered a unique musical style that continues to serve as a source of inspiration for numerous music enthusiasts, myself included.
After enjoying Dixon's music for an extended period and occasionally seeking track information, I've now compiled what I consider to be the most noteworthy tracks from the years 2004-2005. In this mix, I present a curated selection of these tracks that have left a lasting impact on the music landscape.
